The field of Hospital Medicine has expanded rapidly since its inception in the late 1990s, and currently, most hospitals in United States contract with Hospital Medicine groups. St. Joseph's Candler Health System incorporated the Chatham Hospitalist Program in 2005.
Hospitalist programs across the country have evolved with the constant change in evidence-based medicine, technology, and patient care coordination. Our Chatham Hospitalists' Program strives to stay at the forefront to ensure the safest and highest rated medical treatments available to our patients.
Our Chatham Hospitalists' Providers serve patients in two local hospital locations. Candler Hospital, located at 5353 Reynolds Street, and St. Joseph's Hospital, located at 11705 Mercy Boulevard.
